The Opportunity
As a part of a team of specialists, the Wealth Relationship Manager serves as the main point of contact for a designated group of clients. Working as a liaison with other BMT dedicated specialists to drive new client acquisition and client retention by providing advice around investments, cash management, lending, estate planning, income, tax, philanthropic and financial planning; ensuring that all other planning needs are identified and met to provide clients with a complete wealth management solution.
This position will be based in Bryn Mawr, PA.
Serve as an advisor to clients by building trust and effectively managing relationships by thoroughly understanding their needs, providing advice and delivering appropriate products and services.
Drive business results through revenue and asset growth, new client acquisition and growth of existing client relationships.
Coordinate with internal specialists (e.g. investments, credit/lending, trust & estate) to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients to help them solve their specialized financial needs.
Ensure that proposed products and services fulfill clients' needs and objectives in the short, medium and long term.
Cultivate relationships with Centers of Influence (COI) by actively soliciting referrals and coordinating the team approach with respect to outreach.
Collaborate with other team members to expand existing client relationships by leading client strategy sessions to help identify new opportunities.
Prepare financial plans as needed to help identify client needs and develop strategies to meet them.
Fully supports the coordination of sales efforts among Lenders, Bankers, Investors, Trust and Tax Officers to meet all client needs and expectations.
Build partnership with peers, specialists and support teams.
Provide training, coaching and guidance to junior staff.
Faithfully adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines and security measures.
Minimum six years of relevant experience in financial services or role involving client management/sales.
Bachelor's degree required; JD, MBA or CFP preferred, but not required.
Experience in understanding the financial needs of all types of clients.
Excellent business development and marketing skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations.
Local market knowledge.
Sales/client experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management.
Proven sales success including: new client acquisition, building and sourcing referrals from network of intermediaries, growing existing client relationships
Demonstrated understanding of investments, banking and planning concepts including: asset allocation/portfolio construction, equities and fixed income trading, credit/lending, basic trust and estate solutions, retirement planning.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment and maintain professionalism in difficult circumstances.
Well organized, customer-service oriented, and driven by a desire to consistently achieve top results. Strong understanding of banking and lending products.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
