President of BMT Insurance Advisors

The President of BMT Insurance Advisors will lead the insurance organization with a focus on client experience, employee experience and business results.  The President will work with the President of BMT Wealth Management to create, communicate and implement a strategic plan that advances the company's vision, mission and objectives of increasing revenue, profitability, and growth The President of BMT Insurance Advisors will be charged with ensuring that the strategic plan is communicated on a level that allows every employee to understand that their role is strategically important to the organization.  Ultimately, the President of BMT Insurance Advisors will lead the organization in providing integrated risk management solutions to the clients of BMTIA, Wealth Management and the Bank. This position will be based in Bryn Mawr, PA. Responsibilities: Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. Lead, guide, direct and evaluate the work of other BMT Insurance Advisor Leaders including senior vice presidents, vice presidents and officers. Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the company. Approve company operational procedures, polices, and standards. Maintain awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards. Continuously analyze relationships to assess market changes or trends, advanced marketing concepts and company products to provide input for potential revisions to the strategic plan with the President of Wealth Management. Play a key role in Merger and Acquisition transactions consistent with the organizations goals Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and review objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Evaluate performance of employees for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company; using a set of strategically important measures and non-measurable aspects of the work environment to determine ongoing success, or lack thereof, that the organization is experiencing. Works on a collaborative basis with the management team of BMT Insurance Advisors to prioritize responsibilities in order to achieve the highest sales results. Maintains successful relationships with internal clients including but not limited to the Banking Division, Marketing, Compliance and Operations. Present company report at Board of Directors meeting. Represent the company at committee meetings and formal functions. Requirements: College Degree, preferably MBA or Master's Degree in a relevant field and advanced insurance designations (CPCU, CIC, CLU etc.) are required. Insurance License in Property & Casualty, Life, Health and Annuities 10+ years of proven experience leading a sales team, region or division. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
