Are you looking to grow your career at Aqua? We have a great new opportunity for an Instructional Designer. This position is responsible for curriculum development for our customer care teams and developing training programs to enhance the competencies and skills of our team members. The Instructional Designer is also responsible for effectively designing blended training in support of Aqua Customer Operations' programs to ensure superior workforce preparation, including development of agreed upon performance metrics, specifically with representative level employees.
Responsibilities will include
Confer with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
Design and build training curriculum, modules and program and prepare teaching plans.
Establish, nurture, and maintain collaborative partnerships with quality, recruiting, and operations - providing continual classroom innovation.
Quickly synthesize and write course content based on the input from subject matter experts, written material, previous training courses, interviews, etc.
Coordinate training schedules with the hiring and training demands of the department.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts with quality staff and adjusting training curriculum to support those efforts.
Formulate teaching outline and determining instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, CBT training, lectures, demonstrations, meetings and workshops.
Develop testing programs for trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior.
This position has a 20% overnight travel requirement.
Education and Qualifications
The successful candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five years of experience in training and development and/or instructional design, as well as excellent presentation skills and managing a diverse classroom environment. Prior experience in curriculum design is required. Delivery of adult classroom and e-learning solutions along with proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting. Additionally,
Must be proficient with various software application programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) as well as instructional design software/tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, to include a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal customers is required. The ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and rapidly changing business environment.
Experience in customer service or in a call center environment is preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
