This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the medical office.
The Medical Receptionist will greet patients, schedule appointments, collect copays and maintain patient confidentiality.
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Greet patients and schedule appointments Answer incoming phone calls Manage and direct incoming calls and correspondence Communicate with patients and providers in a friendly and courteous manner Update patient records and communicate any changes or discrepancies to patients/providers Assist in scheduling, confirming, or canceling appointments as needed Check in patients at the check-in counter, collect copays and ensure patient confidentiality prior to arrival at the office (must be familiar with electronic medical records technology) Maintain an organized office environment (filing, etc.
)and assist with other office duties as assigned by management Perform other duties as assigned by management Job Type:
