$5000 sign on Bonus! We are looking for a FT Night shift Charge Nurse.
The primary purpose of this job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Responsibilities Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
Transcribe physician's orders to resident charts.
treatment/care plans, as required.
Follow treatment/care plans, as required.
Chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident, as well as the resident's response to the care.
Qualifications Active PA RN license 1
years experience in the long term care field preferred Experience with the older population Effective written and verbal communication Ability to work Saturday and Sunday day shift Eligible to work in the US, we use E-verify The RN will play a key role in the success of Health Services within our community.
The RN will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues to maximize resident, family and potential resident satisfaction.
