Make an Impact!You make all the difference for your patients! As an ED Tech, you will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary clinical team within the ED unit.
Your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of their Patient Experience.
As an Emergency Department Technician, you will be caring for your patients' emergent issues by assisting them with their daily living, taking vital signs, Accu-Cheks, Phlebotomy, IV insertions, EKG's, and other nursing assistant responsibilities.
This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
ED Techs have an expanded scope of practice:
you are trained to start IVs, phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, glucose checks, crutching/splinting, etc.
You will also be trained in trauma and non-trauma settings to be the first responder with the medical team.
We Hire ED Techs for the Following Positions:
Full-Time Part-Time w/ Benefits Per Diem Weekend Program (Sat/Sun, 12-hour Shifts) Non-Benefits Eligible:
2/4 Weekends per Month Benefits Eligible:
3/4 and 4/4 Weekends per Month At Main Line Health, our ED Techs work on Day, Evening, and Night Shifts.
The shifts currently available are based on department needs.

What We are Looking for:
Experience Previous experience in delivery of patient services preferred.
IV insertion experience highly preferred.
Crutching/Splinting experience highly preferred.
Phlebotomy experience preferred.
Previous EMT or ED Technician experience a plus! Education Graduation from high school or equivalent required.
Some college preferred.
Licensures & CertificationsBLS2.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
